Busy, yet fun week!

We had a busy week but fun nevertheless!

Tuesday, T was chosen from work to go the Braves game with free tickets from Napa Auto Parts! His store exceeded their sales goal last month, and this is how they rewarded them. So, he took along his wife! :) It was very stormy on Tuesday but the weather cleared up just in time for the game. On the way into Atlanta, we saw a beautiful rainbow. My pictures aren't that great because we were driving 55 mph (ok, ok, more like 70-75 mph), but it was pretty nonetheless!

Oh, and by the way, the Braves beat the Marlins. :) 10-9 final score.

Then on Friday, we went with my family to a rodeo! It was a lot of fun! :) I'll also post some pictures from that.

Enjoy the pictures!

1. I love my life. I recently got married and have never been happier! My hubby is my everything! Married life is awesome when you're married to your best friend.

2. I always thought I would be a teacher when I "grew up". After getting an Associate's Degree in Early Education, I switched my major to Business/Accounting. This shocked everyone, including myself!

3. I'll never forget the smile on the faces of the friends in St. Lucia when we met them on our honeymoon. What an experience! They were overjoyed to have fellowship, even with people they had never met before!

4. I am trying to be positive about school starting again. I miss the excited "back to school" feeling! The mental outlook is truly everything!

5. I met my husband when I was 16 and at the time thought he was wayyy to old for me (and was a little upset at him for making fun of my Southern accent! haha). I found out later that he's only 2 years older than me. We exchanged email addresses, so I wrote him, but didn't hear back for almost a year! We started dating later that year (and now he thinks my accent is cute)...

6. There have been a lot of changes in the last couple months. I miss my old meeting and field. It was so hard to leave. I miss my old co-workers. I feel so sorry for the company; they are struggling and it's very stressful.

7. Since being married, I'm learning a lot. I've learned that I LOVE to cook! I try to cook at least two new recipes each week. Tim's favorites so far are my banana choc. chip bread and hamburger pie. Oh, and I've also learned that I don't like doing laundry...or maybe I should say, I STILL don't like doing laundry! ;)

On Top of Ol' Sawnee...

Tim & I took Cameron, Amanda, & Shannon for a hiking trip on Sawnee Mountain. We discovered this park near our house and decided to give it a try! It's fairly new and some parts are still under construction, but overall it has very nice hiking trails. On the top of the mountain, there are "Indian Seats", where supposedly the Indians used to sit to see the beautiful views. These are rocks, or should I say cliffs, so I was a bit nervous when everyone decided to go "explore" but everyone ended up doing fine...no injuries! :) There's also rock climbing available at this park, but you must have a "climbing permit" from the city...Tim & I might look into this, although these rock walls definitely do not compare to the rock climbing gym walls!! (haha)

 Enjoy the pictures!

The Latest!

Our First Sunday in Cumming ;)

7.13.08

Wow, I'm getting behind in updating! Well, at least the last couple weeks have been less hectic! :)
Tim is getting moved back to the Cumming store (yay!!)...his first day back will be Tuesday. He'll be a GS again, but we're just happy he'll be back in Cumming -- closer to home and working with people that he likes! :)

I'm still enjoying my job...learning a lot but still have a long way to go! Hopefully I'll have all this "tax" stuff down soon...April 15th will be here before I know it! :)

School starts in a couple weeks. Can't say either of us is looking forward to that, however, school starting also means that convention is just right around the corner! And we are defiantly looking forward to that!!

Below are some pictures from a couple Sundays ago. I'm having some issues w/Slide right now. Sorry!

**Oh! And if anyone took pictures at our wedding and wouldn't mind sharing them w/us on a CD...that would be wonderful!!** :)

Until later...

Martin's & Spath's for dinner & fondue!
